Water Damage Restoration

Minor water damage to carpet can usually be corrected if attended to quickly by extracting the water, drying and then cleaning and sanitizing.

Don’t let wet carpet go to waste. Water damage from leaking plumbing or heating pipes can be mitigated if corrective actions are taken quickly.

  • Thoroughly extract the water from the carpet and under-pad
  • Install drying equipment to provide vigorous laminal air flow to any affected areas including carpet, under-pad and sub-floor
  • Provide a means to dehumidify the air
  • Thoroughly deep-clean the carpet after it is dry
  • Apply an anti-fungicide treatment to arrest microbial growth
  • Re-install carpet

In many cases these actions will be successful in saving the carpet, providing the sheet rock on walls adjacent to the damaged area have not been affected and the originating water was clean water, not grey water or sewage.
